| Hey,
If you borrowed the book Speak by Laurie Anderson from me, give it
back. I have lost hundreds of dollars of books in my life as a huge
dork, and I refuse to buy this book agian even though it is required
reading for my eng 308 course because I already OWN it, I bought a copy
when I was a freshmen in high school, now I have to take a class about
how this would be a good book to make high school freshmen read- yeah,
no shit professor dornan?
anyway, please give it back

| Today, just now, at this very instant, I became a true English major.
Never mind that I have been going to this university for almost six
semesters, and my transcrips have said 'english major' ever since the
day that I was accepted here, or the fact that I have been helping
Bailey with her essays for ages, or the 4.0+ + + I got
on two ENG 453 essays; it wasn't even the fact that I am able to use a
semicolon correctly. Ok, now I need to stop bragging, but damnit, those
essays were hard, and I like saying plusplusplus.
No.
Today, just now, at this very instant, I realized that my Grammar book
was out of date, and that I would most likely have to buy a new
one. Thats right. My Grammar book from freshmen year (2004) is
out of date; thats not what makes me an English major. No, the fact
that I was EXCITED to replace my Grammar book, yes, yes, that will do
it.
Still, I can't believe that my grammar book dosn't have a section for
citing videos viewed online (a la youtube), or even a section for
citing blogs- not that i'm citing blogs- but what if I wanted to?

| I sleep way too much, today, all I did was sleep when I got home
from class- I finally woke up when the landlord called about our
shower; it was six and I thought that it was six AM as opposed to PM,
and all I could think was that I missed the Gilmore Girls- not that I
didn't study for my exam, finish any of my essays or that I would have
wasted an entire day if I had slept until the next morning. No, I only worried about the Gilmore Girls.
I am still glad that I didn't miss it though.

| I got a 4.0+++ on my english paper. I analyzed the
hell out of that poetry, plus, it was for my ENG 453 class, and 400
level classes in your major are important to say the least. So now I
know that a fifth of my grade is set.
Sooo, yeah, I'm a badass
